Director, Loyalty & Database Marketing

Location: Oakbrook Terrace, IL

Our client in Chicago is looking to hire a Director of Loyalty & Database Marketing for their growing company. This is a permanent opportunity. 

Key Responsibilities

·         Partner with the product team and external platforms to architect and deploy a world class database and loyalty program for our client

·         Partner with internal analytics teams to establish KPIs and measure performance of any and all programs that are implemented

·         Achieve annual customer retention and life time value goals and convincingly communicate that story to senior management

·         Partner with Marketing, Creative, and Product teams to plan and implement all aspects of the client customer loyalty program

·         Fully manage all 3rd party relationships within the loyalty program

·         Right size the points economy to optimal efficiency in promoting revenue driving behaviors

·         Guide marketing channels on communication strategies to ensure that retention needs are integrated into appropriate communications and marketing channels and plans (i.e., website, email, mobile)

·         Actively and accurately report out program growth and results


·         Bachelor's degree required. Master’s level degree preferred or equivalent training and experience.

·         10+ years of relevant experience in the design, implementation, and day-to-day management of database and loyalty marketing programs in a large consumer facing enterprise

·         Exceptionally strong analytical skills and mindset

·         Driven, enthusiastic and creative leader who can influence the broader organization with a clear vision and analytic storytelling

·         Solid organizational and project management skills, including strong follow through skills and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects, deadlines and work streams

·         Resourceful and results-oriented self-starter, with an ability to thrive in an authentic, feedback-driven culture and” roll-up-your-sleeves” environment

·         Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills
