Workday Implementation Specialist

Location: MI

Job Type: Contract

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and successfully deliver key components of Workday payroll development: identification of business requirements, functional and process design, prototype development, testing, and knowledge transfer
  • Provides Workday product and implementation
  • Lead Workday payroll software implementations
  • Consult with client to further improve product capabilities
  • Design, communicate and execute full SDLC
  • Lead Workday payroll implementations
  • Advise on additional cloud strategy and technology options.

 

Skills Required:

  • 5-7 years of Workday implementation
  • Experience designing and implementing technology-enabled HCM/Payroll business solutions
  • Strong oral and written presentation and communication skills required.
  • Team oriented with an ability and strong desire to mentor less experienced consultants.
  • Excellent listening skills to fully understand the customer requirements
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills

Desired:

  • Knowledge of Benefits/Time Tracking

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent
  • Workday HCM and Payroll Certification desired
