As a Technology Lead you’ll be in charge of the day-to-day – overseeing the technology team and working to improve the process and systems we use to deliver to our clients. We have the ability to determine and quickly evolve the systems and process used to deliver our work, so you’ll be able to have an immediate impact. More important than any particular technical skill, ideal candidates will be able to deftly troubleshoot and problem solve – both technical and process issues.
As Technology Lead you’ll partner with a technical Project Manager to allot work and coordinate releases. POCs, DevOps, etc. Your team will have all the skills necessary from front-end talent to operational support including QA and DBA.
Lead the technology team to create engaging, reliable, high-performance digital experiences
Work with the Technology Director on strategic initiatives and campaign work
Partner with the technical Project Manager, QA Lead, and Ops team to release code to BMWUSA.com
Contribute to solution architecture designs and lead code reviews
Be a liaison to the Hangar development team
Adobe Experience Manager expertise on version 6.0 or later
Experience with large scale B2C websites written in Java or deployed on AEM
Familiarity with website operations and fluency in the typical tiers on a high traffic website
Detailed problem solver and troubleshooting experiencing
Experience with the Atlassian suite of tools - JIRA, Bitbucket, Confluence, HipChat, etc.
