Customer Service Representative

Location: St. Johns, MI

Job Type: Contract to Hire

Job Description:

The communication call center representative answers inbound claim services to insured individuals for either glass, first notice of loss, or roadside assistance including towing, jump-starts, lock-outs, etc. The client acts as a third party administrative for both the insurance companies and the insured providing services as needed.

Responsibilities:

Answer inbound claim service calls, collect information and complete dispatch calls
NO COLD CALLS! 
The only outbound calls consist of follow-up customer service surveys
Enter invoices for data processing
Mapping for internal database of Service Providers

Additional Responsibilities:

Communicate professionally with insured and providers to obtain or provide information
Collect claim information and simultaneously document data into a computer-based program
Appropriately document all relevant information regarding the claim service call
Maintain compliance with Client policies and procedures
Meet and exceed predetermined goals with the call center
Fulfill those responsibilities and/or duties that may be reasonably provided by our Client for the purpose of achieving operational and financial success of the Company
Complete all other assignments as needed

Qualifications:

Verbal communication for Customer Service is very vital - must have 1 year experience with customer experience
Proficient in appropriate use of grammar and spelling
Demonstrate ability to meet and exceed call center goals
High school diploma or recognized equivalent required
Ability to maintain a high energy level and positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
Outstanding phone etiquette techniques
Must have sound judgment and the ability to relate well with others
Basic personal computer skills are necessary, including the ability to maneuver between multiple screens quickly, multi-task keyboarding experience
