You will exhibit empathy for the user and an unwavering belief that words do, in fact, matter. You will have an understanding of UX and its fundamental relationship to language in the digital realm.
2. WRITING AND IDEATION
You will write clear, concise user-interface text for products using an appropriate tone across multiple touchpoints and experiences. You will be the subject matter expert (a company “go to") for user experience writing. You will contribute to concepts and working sessions with cross functional teams.
3. CONTENT STRATEGY
You will take the responsibility to layout a vision for product content across each touchpoint.
4. BRAND AND VOICE
You will motivate those around you with your vision and dedication to brand voice and writing excellence.
5. PRACTICE KNOWLEDGE
You will maintain cultural awareness of the design landscape and future trends. Additionally you will proactively consume relevant content on the practice and processes of product design.
You will take important product considerations across disciplines into mind and support the larger team.
You will understand the importance of documenting in a clear, concise, efficient, easy-to-digest manner, making it easy for those who need to approve and build what we’re designing.
You will regularly demonstrate the ability to communicate in a clear, consistent, and transparent manner. Equally you will listen well and take action on clear direction.
You will have an eye for detail, and know how important is to make sure we’re designing the best experience possible. In parallel you will provide concise UAT input throughout the process.
You will lay out a vision for product content across each touchpoint. You will collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers, and will be able to do so in both formal and ad hoc settings.
11. OPEN DIALOG
You will take initiative to meet early and often with other disciplines. The best work happens when we have an open dialog and can engage organically.
You will know how to give and get feedback, both positive and negative, in a constructive way, that helps move the work forward and creates the best experience for everyone.
