This position is responsible for the installation of Skype for Business, including training customers on Skype as we transition from legacy phone services. This involves stagging phones pre-installation, physical transfer of equipment to/from buildings, removal of legacy phone services, mapping wired and wireless network service locations and other work as required. This position will be contributing to an environment that is focused on teamwork to ensure customers (internal/external) are receiving highly effective voice service. A flexible work schedule is required.
Responsible for installation of Skype work orders for customers. This includes, but is not limited to, stagging new phones and removal of cross-connects and training for users. Other duties include removal of legacy phone equipment as directed. Responsible for accurate data entry into Service Now telemanagement system to update and complete projects/service orders. Responsible to ensure time is accurately entered into timekeeping systems. Travel to remote campuses may be required.
Mapping of wired and wireless network locations.
Other duties as required.
