What kind of benefits can I receive as a contractor / employee?

The benefits available to you as a contractor depends on your employment classification.

• If you are working less than 30 hours per week: you are classified as a part-time employee and are not eligible for benefits. You may become eligible for medical and dental benefits if the hours on your assignment exceed 30 per week.
• If you are working 30 hours per week or more: you are classified as a full-time employee and become eligible for medical and dental benefits immediately. 

Benefit packages are custom designed to meet each contractor’s individual needs. Certain benefits require employee contributions and are based upon the length of the assignment.
