CHICAGO, June22, 2006 –OtterBase, a leading supplemental staffing company headquartered in Grand Rapids, Mich., recently opened an office in Chicago to accommodate a rapidly growing client base.
“OtterBase has experienced continued growth in the Chicago area in recent years, and we’re looking to expand our services to additional businesses in that market, so we felt this was the perfect time to establish a Chicago office,” said Jeff Bennett, Co-founder & President, OtterBase.
OtterBase has provided supplemental staffing support to Chicago-area businesses for several years. The majority of its current Chicago-based work is in the Information Technology and Engineering sectors.
As OtterBase expands its client base in the Chicago market, it plans to focus its growth efforts in these sectors and build relationships with clients who view supplemental staffing as a long-term strategic initiative.
The Chicago office, 343 West Erie Street, Suite 240, is the newest OtterBase location. The company also has offices in Grand Rapids, Detroit and Boston.
In 2005, OtterBase experienced a 40 percent growth in internal staff for the eighth straight year and a 50 percent growth in revenue. The company expects similar success in 2006. Its nationwide client base includes everything from small- and mid-sized businesses to Fortune 500 companies.
