Preventive Maintenance Technician I |

Responsiblities:
- Utilize electrical and mechanical skills to troubleshoot the equipment; reconnecting wires, greasing ball bearings and tightening tracks on conveyors.
- Conveyor experience is required.
- Perform the following general preventative maintenance responsibilities, with direction from the onsite Project Manager:
- Preventive maintenance shall include the oil and lubrication and tuning of all drive train components such as:
- Belt and Carrier Roller Drive Chains
- Inspect general condition of belts, lacings or chains.
- Motors and Reducers
- Inspect overall condition and tightness.
- Primary and Parasitic Drive Assemblies
- Inspect overall condition of pulleys, bearings, sprockets, drive chains.
- Take-Ups and End Assemblies
- Inspect condition of pulleys and/or sheaves.
- Conveyor Rollers
- Inspect carrier, pressure and return rollers for shell or bearing wear.
- Bed and Support
- Inspect for proper alignment and positioning.
- Pneumatic Devices (when applicable)
- Inspect for air leaks and tighten loose fittings as required.
- Hydraulic Devices (when applicable)
- The use of steel toed boots is required and candidate must have basic tools: screwdriver, socket set, wrenches, etc…
